The move to renovate the National Assembly complex with N37 billion has generated reactions across the country. <br /><br />The N37 billion had been included in the Federal Capital Development Agency 2020 budget. <br /><br />Senate President, Ahmad Lawan, said the President, Major General Muhammadu Buhari (retd), is aware of the planned renovation of the National Assembly complex in 2020. Lawan said, <br /><br />“When we resumed office (at) the National Assembly Complex, we noticed that many parts of the National Assembly complex were dilapidated. <br /><br />“We convened a meeting involving the management of the National Assembly, the Federal Capital Development Authority, Speaker of the House of Representatives and I. <br /><br />“We had an exhaustive engagement.
